Team Ethan - 3 Years Old

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation J.D.R.F

Walkathon - October 1st, 2005

Who is Ethan? He is my beautiful little boy who was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at 13 months. He is a real trooper. He knows "Binks" (Blood Sugar Level Tests) and "Pinches" (Insulin Shots) are daily, almost hourly events. He knows his body doesn't process sugar and he shouldn't eat cookies, ice cream, brownies, candy etc... He can tell when his BSL gets low. When we tell him it's time for a test or a shot he offers his finger or arm without hesitation. Remember, he's 3. The boy only knows this routine of life. We hope that someday he and millions of baby's like him won't have to go through what he has to. That's why we walk for him and others with the same affliction. By the way, Ethan says the Red Sox Rule and the Yankees stink.

This is the third year we have walked for JDRF.                                 TEAM ETHAN raised over $2,000.00 this year.

Who walked this year: Mommy(Margie), Daddy(Steve), Ethan, Colin, Jenn, Erik (Ewik), Auntie Laura, Matthew, Kevin, Janelle, April, Pami, and 10,000 other fantastic people who thought of no better way to spend this Saturday than raising money and awareness to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. We want to Thank Everyone who donated to JDRF for this walkathon.

our heartfelt thanks go out to team ethan!
